VOLUNTEERING...A great way to expand your horizons ! The Imperial Theatre is grateful to it's many dedicated volunteers of all ages and provides many opportunities for involvement in the operation of the Theatre. Some opportunities to expand your horizons can be found below : - Box Office The Imperial Theatre Box Office is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and for one hour before every performance. Our staff sells tickets and, provides patrons with information on upcoming events. As well, we provide general tourist information on Sarnia, especially downtown Sarnia, such as restaurants and hotels in our area. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in working with the public, in an office environment, or interested in small business marketing. As well as volunteers, the Box Office offers co-op positions each semester for Secondary School and College students. BartendingThe Imperial Theatre has licensed bar areas located on both the main floor and the balcony, that are open prior to performances and during intermissions. They are run solely by volunteers, and offer our patrons a full range of refreshments from pop and coffee, to beer, wine and mixed drinks. All volunteers for the bar must be of legal serving age. Murray and Denise Rempel are always looking for new faces to join their dedicated smart serve crew. Front of HouseThere are a variety of jobs that our volunteer staff take care of at each performance: greeters, ushers, ticket takers are needed for every performance.
