Imperial Theatre Technical Fees : January 1,2010

The following is part of the agreement to lease and is provided for information and clarification. 


 

Technical Crew :

  • All technical crew costs are to be paid by the tenant.
  • The Theatre will assign a technical director to each performance as an advisor. The technical director will assist in securing the technical requirements for the production.
  • If technicians are needed to set up or operate light or audio equipment,  the tenant will be billed at a base rate of $20 per hour with a minimum 3 hour call.
  • Crew used on Holidays require holiday pay billed at double time.
  • Basic Rate for up to 8 hours is $20 per hour.
  • Overtime Rate for 8 to 12 hours is $30 per hour.
  • Doubletime Rate for over 12 hours is  $40 per hour.
  • Doubletime Rate of $40 per hour applies for any hours between Midnight and 6:00 am.

 

Merchandising :

  • The merchandising fee is 10% of gross sales. If you wish to sell merchandise in the front lobby of the theatre then $35 will be added to the base rent.  This price includes 1 – 3 tables and cloths (optional seller).


Lighting Fees :

  • A flat fee of $250 will be charged for reconfiguring and restoring the house lighting plot.
  • Use of the follow spotlights will be charged at $20 per spotlight plus the cost of an operator at a rate of $15 per hour.
  • Mini Effects Fogger/ Fog Machine - includes liquid fog  $15 .

Piano Fees : 

  • Grand Piano                                       $85

The tenant is responsible for the cost of tuning the Grand Piano which must be arranged by the Imperial Theatre.

  • Portable Yamaha Clavinova                            $40 
  • Yamaha Clavinova                                             $75

 


         

Additional Supplies and Fees :

  • Gaff Tape:                                               $20 per roll
  • Construction Materials:                           cost plus 10%
  • Glow Tape:                                             $3 per foot
  • Backdrop Installation:                             $35 per drop
  • Projector and Screen:                             $75 per performance
  • Opening and Closing the Orchestra Pit   $80
  • Use of Additional Dressing Rooms - outside of those provided downstairs     $50
  • Additional cleaning due to Catering, Hospitality or Receptions.                    $150

 

Tenant Supplies :

      The following supplies must be provided by the tenant:

  • Scissors
  • Tape
  •  Photocopies
  •  Pins 
  •  Velcro
  •  Construction Tools
  •  Screws and Fasteners
  •  Extension Cords
  •  Set pieces
  •  Garbage bags
  •  Safety equipment such as Hard Hats, Safety Boots and Gloves.

      If any of the above items are requested by the tenant, a nominal fee will be charged.
