Board of Directors of Theatre Sarnia The Board is comprised of ten elected Directors from within the membership of Theatre Sarnia and two Directors appointed by the Board from the local community. The term of office for an elected Director is usually 3 years and a Director may sit, if so elected, for a maximum of two terms. At the Annual General Meeting of Theatre Sarnia, an election is held by those members present to replace the positions of those Directors retiring that year. Although there is no formal requirement to apply for a Board position, it helps when organizing the Annual General Meeting if the name of any member wishing to put their name forward for election be known. Contact any Board member to have your name listed for election and the duties, responsibilities and time commitment of a Board Director will be explained in detail. This in no way precludes any nomination from the floor at the Annual General Meeting. It is expected that any prospective candidate for election will make a short presentation at the Annual General Meeting outlining their anticipated contribution to the Board of Directors.
