Fall acting PROGRAM

Calling all Youth Actors! The Theatre Sarnia Youth Group is excited to announce that this fall we will, once again, be offering a 10 week program for aspiring young actors.

This program will cover all the fundamentals of acting and theatre, including scene work, blocking, performance techniques, character development, and more! Over the course of our 10 weeks, program participants will learn and apply these fundamentals while working on a play. This program will be split into a series of one act plays, that will all be performed on the same evening. All program participants will be in one of these plays (age will be considered when dividing up casts). They will get the chance to experience an audition, be cast in a role (or roles), work with their cast to rehearse, prepare, and perfect their play, and develop their acting skills along the way. Our program will culminate in a live performance on stage at the Imperial Theatre this fall! There is limited space available - reserve your spot today!

Performance Date: Tuesday, November 10th, 2026 (Mandatory rehearsals on Sunday, November 8th and Monday, November 9th)

Important Information
This program will be split into two casts. Our goal with having two casts is to give as many kids as possible the opportunity to be part of this show. Your child will find out which cast they are in within the first few weeks of our program. Siblings will be kept in the same cast and we will consider age when assembling our casts. Both casts will still be rehearsing together for much of our rehearsal time. If your child has friends in the opposite cast, they will still get to be in rehearsals with them and support each other in their performances.

Show Schedule:
Sunday, April 18th: Cast A First Tech Rehearsal
Monday, April 19th: Cast B First Tech Rehearsal
Tuesday, April 20th: Cast A Second Tech Rehearsal
Wednesday, April 21st: Cast B Second Tech Rehearsal
