Addams Family Casting Call

• Show summary The Addams Family a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and a dilemma that’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

  • Saturday, June 13: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Callbacks, if needed: Sunday, June 14 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Audition Requirements
  
  • Pre-registration through the Addams Family Audition Form
  • Character descriptions and sides are available in the  Addams Family: The Musical | Audition Information
  • Prepare two songs from the Audition List, based on who you are auditioning for. Auditions will be accompanied by a pianist. Please perform in character and have fun with your interpretation!
  • All auditionees are also asked to participate in the dance call, either before or after their vocal audition. Please make sure you wear comfortable clothing that you can move in easily and bring a pair of indoor shoes.
• Rehearsal and Performance Information
  
  • Rehearsals begin on Tuesday, July 7
  • Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. .
  • Performances are October 9, 10, 14, 15, 16 at 7:30 p.m.; October 10 and 17 at 2:00 p.m.; and a school matinee on October 15 at 10:00 a.m.
  • Please note: this show opens on Thanksgiving weekend.
• Content & Care Notes
  
  • This production will be staged with an intimacy director to ensure clarity, consent, and care.
  • As there will be children in the production, all cast members over the age of 18 will be required to complete a vulnerable sector check.
