GLDA: A Year in Dance

Celebrate the joy, and artistry of dance at the Great Lakes Dance Academy’s 2026 recital, A Year in Dance, at the Imperial Theatre.

This energetic performance features dancers ages 3–18 and takes audiences on a journey through the four seasons, brought to life through movement, music, and storytelling. From the delicate beauty of winter to the bright energy of summer and the rich tones of autumn, each piece reflects the spirit and rhythm of the year.

Audiences will enjoy a dynamic variety of dance styles, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acro, and Contemporary, performed by dedicated young artists who have trained all season for this moment on stage.

Thursday's Primary performance will run Approx 60mins with no intermission

Fri & Sat's Senior performance will run approx 2.5 hours with an intermission
